Currently doing a funny track in Thodi Si Zameen, Thoda Sa Aasman, Shraddha Nigam would next be seen in a love story called Hum Tum for Zee Next. Catch the actress on the lure of small screen, interviewed by Riya V Anandwala.

You're playing a very unusual character in Thodi Si Zameen, Thoda Sa Aasman. How did it come about?
I always thought this show was great, so I jumped at the offer. Moreover it's a funny track, in which a girl is chasing the guy.

You've done television in spurts. Why?
It's not that I do only one show at a time. But when I was doing Krishna Arjun, I spent 15 days a month doing the show and the other half recovering from it.

It was that hectic! I want to have a life and not spend all of it to make a living.

Any other show we can expect you in?
Yeah, I'm doing one with Milind Soman's Face Entertainment. It's a short series for a new channel, Zee Next.

Tell us a little more..
It's a love story called Hum Tum. The approach to the narrative is very new age, that's what the channel is targeting.

You acted in a film, Yathaarth. Any more coming up?
Unfortunately, hardly anyone saw Yathaarth. I did Salaam India with Sanjay Suri recently. I am in talks for some more roles.
