HT readers have predicted that Shilpa Shinde will be the winner of Bigg Boss 11.

Bigg Boss 11 was always really just a fight between Hina Khan and Shilpa Shinde for the coveted trophy. We may have seen three entire months’ worth of episodes but even with five, 10 or 18 contestants, the only contenders ever likely to win were these two. But with Hina’s popularity dwindling in the last month due to her selfish behaviour in the house, Shilpa was the one everyone put their money on, even HT readers.

We started a poll earlier this week, asking our readers who they thought would be the winner of season 11 and a great majority of the votes went to Shilpa. Of the 15,000 votes counted, 74% were in her favour. The second place went to Hina with 17% of the votes, third place was taken by Vikas Gupta with 8% and finally, Puneesh Sharma in the last place with only 1%.

Shilpa has been a fan favourite since her stint on the popular LifeOK comedy show, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain. The fans loved her as the simple, coy Angoori Bhabhi and missed her greatly when she left the show after a big fight with the show’s producers. Bigg Boss gave her fans a great platform to not only reconnect with her but to also know her better in real life.

In her early days on the show, she would usually be seen fighting with Vikas, Hina or Arshi Khan but in her second month here, she calmed down quite a bit. Spending most of her time in the kitchen, cooking for everyone, she became known as ‘Maa,’ for taking care of them and also for giving them life lessons.

Will the HT readers’ prediction come true? Catch our LIVE updates of the finale on Sunday evening to know more.
