The Telugu Bigg Boss season 2 to is set to premiere on Star Maa on June 10. The show, to be hosted by Nani, will be subjected to high expectations from the fans after the success of the first season which was hosted by Jr NTR. If recent speculations in the industry are any indicator, the show just might feature Sri Reddy, Raj Tharun and Charmme Kaur as the house inmates according to reports.
Sri Reddy was recently in news for her strip protest against casting couch in the industry. She also named directors, actors and accused them of harassment. Since Ram Gopal Varma reportedly got her to name and shame Pawan Kalyan, Sri Reddy has been off the radar. Now, even audiences expect her to be a part of the show as she is currently one of the most controversial persons in the industry.
The second season will run longer than the first and will also start with 16 contestants, which is two more than season one. Season one kicked of with 14 celebs and ran for 70 days. Later, two wild card entries joined the show and Siva Balaji won the title trophy and a cash price of Rs 50 lakhs.
Speaking about turning host for Bigg Boss season 2, the actor told First Post, “I just see this as one more way to connect with my audience. Through my films, I can connect with them once or twice in a year. But through this show, I can stay in touch with them for good three months every week. I’m more curious about how I will be received in this medium which I’m yet to fully explore.”
