The first thought that pops up: why go through such pain to advertise a movie being telecast on TV?

The promo spoofs Nach Baliye (Nach Kaliye.. huh?), Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa (Lachak Dikhhlaa Jaa.. get more creative, please!) and then says, the best dancing jodi.. nope, not a new reality show, but a loser movie. Poof!

Promises to keep

under scrutiny. A bitchy bhabi passes a comment on the inappropriateness of the situation.

Hero consoles screaming sister. His mum suddenly appears and drags the sister away. Hero looks on. Probably wondering when his wife will return from the dead. But something tells me that’s not going to happen.

What’s strange is that the visuals appear as if they’ve been scanned.. the colours are very comic-book. Finally, a stern voice booms, “Paani jeevan nahin.. maut hai!’ Could they get more morbid!

Tearing up

Ought to pick up this video album just for a laugh. Man spots wife hugging another man. He drowns in drink, croons “Woh bewafaaaa.. bewafaaa.. bewafaaa,” screaming his lungs out on a bridge, his eyes overflowing with glycerine.

Cut to another song. Shaadi ka mandap. Bride is sobbing while the words, “Hum bewafaa hargis na the” play in the background. Devdas-type boy is watching and crying. Suddenly, bride flees from the mandap and runs into her Devdas’ arms. He embraces her and lifts her up.. all in fast-forward. Hilarious!
