Gauhar is attractive, but no pyaar vyaar, says Aijaz Khan

“I said I came on the show for Khan sahab (the nickname he gave Gauhar on the show), but that was just a joke. But people took it seriously. Maine Khan sahab ke respect ke wajah se woh joke chalne diya,” he says, adding, “Aur main bhi theek thaak hi dikhta hu. Itna bura nahi dikhta.”

So, that means he did have feelings for her? “I liked her. She’s a beautiful woman, no doubt. I liked her as a person and found her very attractive, but no pyaar vyaar,” he laughs.

On the show, Aijaz had said that Gauhar's attitude towards him had changed after TV actor Kushal Tandon’s re-entry, and the actor stands by the statement.

“She had changed, but that was all my fault. When two people are in love, they will obviously be more friendly towards each other. I had expectations and that’s why I got hurt,” he adds.

Does he think the Gaushal (the name given to the Gauahar-Kushal by their fans) relationship is for real? “Main kaun hota hu comment karne waala. Duniya ko pata chalega,” he says.

About the police complaint against him for calling politician Narendra Modi “chor”, while on the show, he says, “Main kyun aisa bolunga Modiji ke baare mein? Some people have dubbed that. I never said it.”
