Actor Sakshi Tanwar is very happy with the way things are, as far as her career is concerned. However, at a time when most of her contemporaries are taking part in reality shows Sakshi doesn’t want to be a part of them, ever, as she wants to keep her personal life guarded.
"I am an actor and I love to portray characters on screen. What Sakshi is behind those characters is not something I am comfortable sharing with people," says the actor adding, "I am what I am. I don’t want to prove to anyone what I am, who I am, and why I am the way I am."
The 41-year-old, who is famous for playing characters such as Parvati (Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki) and Priya (Bade Acche Lagte Hai) clarifies, "Acting is one part of my life which I share with my fans and viewers. What I do other than acting is my private life and that is something I just do not want to share. Neither do I want to make my life a statement for other people to judge me."
She further emphasises, “And that’s where I am drawing a line between my personal and professional life.” Sakshi seems to be very clear about what she is doing and firmly states, “Acting is my work, that’s it! Other than that, I may love singing, I may love dancing, I may love cooking whatever... all these are things that I do off camera and these are very personal to me by choice. Therefore the reason why I just don’t want to do reality shows.”
