TV actor Arjun Bijlani has had a busy 2016. The actor, who starred in a hit supernatural TV show Nagin earlier this year, is now looking forward to his upcoming serial Pardes. Arjun also tried his luck in Bollywood this year. However, his film, Direct Ishq, failed to make a mark at the box office. Now, he seems to have put movies on the back-burner.

Arjun Bijlani says TV is very big now and one can’t leaving TV completely to do a film. It is a bad move for a TV star in today’s times.

“I have been getting many film offers. But right now, I am in a happy space. I won’t deny that I want to do films, but I’ll do them only if the script is substantial and worth it,” says Arjun.

With many of his peers quitting their television careers for films, Arjun doesn’t “want to leave something for nothing”. “I don’t want to make the mistake that many [other actors] have made, and still regret. I want to do a film that will change my career for the better, and not hamper it,” says Arjun.
