Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has been announced as a guest host on Saturday Night Live.
Lawrence will headline SNL's first episode of the New Year, set to air on January 19. The 22-year-old will appear alongside musical guest stars The Lumineers, reported Digital Spy online.

The Silver Linings Playbook star was nominated this week for a Golden Globe award for Best Actress.
Lawrence has also been nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role category at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, for her role in the film opposite Bradley Cooper.
She is currently filming The Hunger Games's second installment Catching Fire, that is due for release in November 2013.
