John Travolta wants to return for the season 2 of American Crime Story

Pulp Fiction star and Oscar-nominated actor John Travolta says he wants to be a part of the second season of American Crime Story as well.

The 62-year-old said he is game for the second season of the Ryan Murphy-run FX miniseries, said The Hollywood Reporter. He plays OJ Simpson’s lawyer Robert Shapiro in the current season of the show.

“I told them I was interested and that it was up to them. I don’t think they expected that I would say that, but because (Katrina) comes close to home, I felt that way.

“I’m very interested in the Katrina story because Kelly and I were actually a part of that in real life. We went with a plane-load of medics and supplies and went deep into the parishes to help people, so I have a personal feeling about that. It touches me deeply,” Travolta said.

The star even has a scene in mind for the writers, inspired by his own experience aiding Katrina victims.
