Kannadada Kotyadhipati season 3 will be hosted by Ramesh Arvind, not Puneeth Rajkumar

Kannada reality show Kannadada Kotyadhipati season 3 host is not Puneeth Rajkumar, but Ramesh Arvind.

The Kannada version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kannadada Kotyadhipati season 3, will see Ramesh Arvind replace Puneeth Rajkumar as host. Picking up from Amitabh Bachchan’s Hindi version, Kannadada Kotyadhipati debuted in 2015. Puneeth hosted the first two seasons of the show, based on the UK original, Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

TV producer Siddhartha Basu confirmed Ramesh Arvind’s involvement.on Twitter. He wrote, “Delighted that the eloquent, empathetic, knowledgeable, multi-award winning host, actor, director, writer, @Ramesh_aravind will be hosting Kannadada Kotiyadipathi on @StarSuvarna. The call for entries will open soon – a golden opportunity for a chance to get on to the hot seat.”

Ramesh also shared a poster of the show on his Twitter page and wrote, “Happy.Honored.Humbled to host KBC in Kannada.Await details of Kannadada Kotyadhipathi on StarSuvarna.”

There were speculations in the industry that the showrunners were not willing to meet Puneeth’s quote, because of which he refused to return for another season. Other than Kannadada Kotyadhipati, Ramesh also hosts a talk show called Weekend with Ramesh, which is a big hit among audiences. This show has successfully completed three seasons.

He is also working with Parul Yadav in Kannada, Kajal Aggarwal in Tamil, Manjima Mohan in Malayalam and Tamannaah in Telugu.
