Kitchen Champion returns with season 2

After an all women first season, Kitchen Champion, the afternoon game show will be back with its second installment, this time with male actors also.

"It was a logical step for us to follow the phenomenal success of the show with a second season. The format with a twist will be filled with lots of cheer, great enthusiasm and of course, brilliant recipes," said Ashvini Yardi, programming head, Colors.

Actor Ronit Roy will continue to host the show and the teams will have six men competing against six ladies in the kitchen.

The men's team will be called Mast Munde and will see actors like Nandish Sandhu, Ayub Khan, Aditya, Sharad Kelar, Gaurav Khanna and Ashutosh Kaushik.

The second season will be aired from July 12 on Colors.

In the first season of Kitchen Champion, a group of actresses were divided into two groups and each team nominated a player to make a recipe. The show had lots of fun games too to keep the entertainment quotient high.
