Husband Shriram Nene goes down on one knee for the actress on national television

Madhuri Dixit couldn’t keep the smile off her face when her husband Dr Shriram Nene proposed to her on national television.

During the family week special on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (JDJ), Madhuri’s family was on the set and a source close to the actor reveals, “Shriram, who hardly ever talks in public about his life with Madhuri, was very forthcoming and candid. That’s what probably surprised Madhuri too. He opened up and shared with everyone how he first proposed to her. He said it was over dinner, and that he actually went down on his knee.”

That’s when Shriram suddenly went down on his knee and proposed to Madhuri all over again. “Madhuri blushed and coyly said," Again?" and said "Yes". She got a bit emotional too,” says the source.

Madhuri, who has been performing in almost every episode of the dance reality show, also mentioned that she feels shy about dancing in front of her husband. “But then she sang the song, Tumse milke, from her movie Parinda (1989) for her husband. That was her way of telling him how much he means to her,” adds the source.
