TV actor Himmanshoo A Malhotra will be entering an ongoing aviation-based TV show, which has actor Tulip Joshi in the lead. The buzz is that his character is modelled on Sidhartha Mallya, the son of business czar Vijay Mallya.

We got in touch with the actor himself to find out the truth. "I’ll be playing Rohan Mafatlal, the owner of the airlines where actors Tulip Joshi and Yudi work as pilots. Yes, my role is based on Sid’s character. I would say that my character will draw a lot of inspiration from Sid," he says, adding, "It’s a very interesting role. I play a charming, rich, and flamboyant guy. Since it’s inspired from Sid, I’ll get to wear fantastic clothes, watches, hats and shoes. I’ll be portrayed in a very interesting and stylish manner. It’s a larger-than-life persona."

Talking about how his character will add to the show, which is currently being shot in Delhi, he says, "It’ll bring an interesting twist in the tale. As the show progresses, Tulip would be seen getting attracted to me, while Yudi is attracted to Tulip," says the Delhi-born actor.
