Actor Manav Gohil, who has made a comeback on television after a break, playing Professor Anirudh Jaitley in Sunshine Production’s show, The Buddy Project, is glad that the show has taken off well. The actor had kept himself away from the television for quite some time. Why?

“I wasn’t getting the right kind of roles. I was ready to compromise on other things like money, but not my roles. Finally all aspects were met with this project and I took it up,” says Manav.

Manav, who plays a young professor in the show, watched several films based on the teacher-student relationship for reference.

“I have seen the film Dead Poets Society and the television show Hip Hip Hurray to take a few pointers for the character,” he explains.
