In a unique reality TV format, four guys will get what they wish for! Only this time, there will be no beeped out cuss words, no ridiculous tasks, not even a host to shout at them.
The new reality show, Eristoff MTV MF 101, will see these guys living theirs dreams as they get a chance to live in the swankiest pad, hang out at the best clubs with the hottest girls, hire bodyguards, drive a different car every day and live the life of a superstar.
Living life king-size
The contestants are a mixed bunch too — Sahil, 22, is a model; Ankit, 27, has been a TV show host; Harpreet, 27, is an entrepreneur who owns a chain of spas; and Rohan, 22, is a DJ.
In the lush greens, at the outskirts of Bangkok city, the show is set in a bungalow with king-size beds, walk-in wardrobes, a pool, an LCD screen TV, a piano, PSPs, snooker tables, a basketball court, a golf course and a lake right outside the balcony.
"Young guys today dream big… of becoming millionaires, dating supermodels, racing fast cars and riding super bikes. Whether it’s their career or lifestyle, people are living fantasies," says Aditya Swamy, senior vice president, MTV India.
Instead of tasks, the show will throw challenges at the contestants chosen largely from online auditions. Their performance will be judged by how well they handle the tasks they are given. An ‘angel’, an omnipresent voice in the house, instructs the guys on what the challenges require them to do. These include throwing a party at the most popular nightclub in town, riding super bikes, maybe dating an arrogant supermodel and even wooing lady-boys.

The show, in a lot of ways, is aspirational too. However, for Harpreet it was an “intense experience” that racing fast cars in the show gave him. Ankit, on the other hand, liked the “clutter-free” format and the fact that it has “a great connect”.
Sahil joined for the rush, while Rohan came to live every moment. All four agree that the show will set a role model for businessmen, models, DJs, TV anchors and other guys who would want to be in their shoes. So is the show MTV’s bid to change its own trend-setting format? “The format is actually quite different. The guys live like four buddies, there’s no elimination and no losers. But there will be one who will live the male fantasy to the fullest. It’s really about what men want.”
