Priyanka Chopra meets Matt Damon on Jimmy Kimmel’s show

Priyanka Chopra’s Quantico gets good reviews in the American media even as the Bollywood star appears on Jimmy Kimmel show and reads the famous mean tweets.

The whole world, it seems, has fallen in love with PC! The American media just can’t seem to have enough of Quantico’s Alex Parrish, calling her “charismatic” and an “arresting lead”. Quantico is Priyanka’s debut on American TV, in which she plays a young FBI recruit who finds herself implicated for a major terror strike on the US soil.

Priyanka will be seen on popular American late-night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, created and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

The much-awaited ABC TV drama premiered in the US on Sunday. The first episode of Quantico will air in India on October 3.

Variety said, “With an arresting lead in Priyanka Chopra, a former Miss World who was born in India, the show races through a lot of material very quickly, which makes it difficult to get a firm handle on where all of this might settle.”

The Wrap called Chopra as someone having “a poise and sexual spark as Alex that suggests a formidable potential FBI agent whose mind and beauty are equally stunning”.

Salon, meanwhile, termed a piece on her as, “Cool, charismatic, complex Alex Parrish — the Indian-American heroine I’ve been waiting for.”
