Believe it or not, Ranbir Kapoor, who will soon be seen in Raajneeti due to release on June 4, is keen to do a daily soap. He has reportedly been offered plenty of reality shows, of which he might finalise one soon. Sources say that the star enjoys watching TV in his free time.

“He has watched a couple of episodes of Balika Vadhu and really likes Avika Gor who plays Anandi, the child bride in the show. He appreciates her performance,” says our source. It’s rumoured that Abhishek Bachchan and he are among some of the actors who were also offered to step into Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan’s shoes on Kaun Banega Crorepati.

“If time permits, he’s also open to do a daily soap. He respects TV actors. He feels they have to emote more consistently as compared to film actors, who just have a three-hour film to do, as against 30 minute daily episodes,” adds our source.

Siddharth Basu denies having approached him for a reality show. Efforts to contact Kapoor were in vain.
