Bollywood's desi girl Priyanka Chopra has donned the look of a spiritual diva in a new advertisement for an aerated drink brand.
The 30-year-old has flaunted over-the-top make-up and she even has a big tikka (vermilion mark) on her forehead. In a yellow Manish Malhotra sari, Priyanka has worn bangles and heavy jewellery for the Indian Premier League (IPL) special advertisement for Pepsi.
Priyanka is happy with her looks in the ad. "I have played a lot of different characters in my films but I haven't played a spiritual diva yet!
We had a lot of fun putting together this look. It's extravagant but goes perfectly with the idea," she said in a statement.
Excited about the ad film, she added: "It's cheeky, it's naughty and it captures the crazy kind of fan support for various teams."
The last Pepsi IPL ad saw Priyanka's Barfi! co-star Ranbir Kapoor in the character of a middle-class working man.
The ad featuring Piggy Chops, as she is lovingly called, will go on air April 18.

Priyanka Chopra's assistant dies in US, family seeks help
Recently, Priyanka Chopra was on tour of the US and Canada. However, once the US leg of the tour was over and while the rest of the entourage moved to neighbouring Canada, one of the crew members Jiban Patra, failed to get the required visa and stayed back in Los Angeles.
Unfortunately, on April 7, the 41 year old Jiban was found dead in his Beverly Hills hotel room.
But ever since his corpse was uncovered, it has been languishing at the mortuary.Though the Los Angeles Police Department, which is investigating the case, has registered a case of unnatural death and an initial inquest has pegged the immediate cause of death as heart attack. Despite the investigation being underway, the police department issued a clearance for the body to be brought back to India; however the process is caught in a so-called logistical muddle.
