Actor Rohan Mehra is very picky about the kind of projects he chooses, but one thing he isn’t picky about is how much screen time he gets on a show, as long as the role has substance in it.

The actor, who now appears in Sasural Simar Ka, and was earlier seen on Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, says that he isn’t insecure about being on shows that primarily focus on female characters.

Rohan, a former Bigg Boss contestant, says, “Definitely, TV shows are focused on women, but male characters, too, get equal importance. For example, when I joined the cast of my current show, the poster we shot for had me sitting in the middle, with the female actors standing beside me. So, we all were treated as important.
