Before you jump to any conclusions, the actress, who has been married only once in her lifetime to an engineer, is tying the knot for the sixth time on her show in five years.Woh Rehnewali Mehlon Ki on Sahara One will now see her wed her new co-star Sameer Sharma.The sequence, being shot at Madh, is expected to go on air from April 28.

Isn’t it also a TRP boosting exercise often followed in soaps? Kapoor agrees that it is, but in her show, it’s woven into the storyline. “The marriage doesn’t happen abruptly on the show. There’s a chain of events that leads to it and pushes the story further,” she explains. Without changing the basic traits of her character, Kapoor has seen three leaps on the show and two marriages with every leap. She chuckles, “The last family that I was shown with was the best. They were all my age group.
