Siddharth returns to his Aangann

Anil Merani talks to Shubh aka Siddharth Shukla from Sony's Baabul ka..., who is all set to come back from the dead, in the soap.

Shubh may be back from the dead soon. That’s Siddharth Shukla who played the hero, till recently, in Baabul ka Aangann Chhootey Naa. A source reveals that the actor may return as his look-alike.

Shukla claims he hasn’t heard the news but says he’ll be happy to return.

Producer Ratna Sinha confirms the news, but says that the ‘comeback’ may take a couple of months. "More than the thrill element, viewers like seeing Siddharth and Aastha (Chaudhary) together on the show," she says.

All’s fine
Sinha denies this: “There were issues but nothing really major. The story demanded Shubh’s exit. We wanted to bring back Raahil Azam as Swayam but that didn’t work out.”

Ask the actress about her link-up with Shukla and she denies it completely.

Chaudhary was reportedly unhappy about being pregnant in the Sony daily because she felt she was “far too young” to be a mother. Sinha retorts, “Aastha is a shy girl. These things have been blown out of proportion. But all’s well that ends well.”
