Cowell, 51, said the 27-year-old party planner, who became a worldwide sensation with her figure-hugging gown at her sister, Kate Middleton’s wedding in April, has the X factor to be a star.

“I haven’t heard her sing, but if she walked in and said, ‘I want to be a TV star,’ I would sign her on the spot,” the Daily Star quoted him as saying.

“She has the X factor. To overshadow your sister when she’s the one getting married? That was impressive,” he added.
