Sikandar Kharbanda does not need any recognition in the Bhojpuri film or TV industry though he has always kept a low profile. He debuted with Balaji’s Kassauti Zindagi Kay and is currently playing the comic Lucky Kapoor, obsessed with Bhojpuri films in Do Hanso Ka Joda on Imagine.

He has already done more than 20 movies and is working on some more. He is the only TV actor who has made it big in Bhojpuri cinema.

Ghazal prodigy
Ghazal stalwarts like Jagjit Singh can breathe easy because there is a worthy replacement slowly making his foray into the elite list of Gazal singers. Ranjit Singh Rajwada, is a 19 year old boy from Jaipur.

The judges on Saregamapa Singing Superstar — Sajid Wajid, Daler Mehndi and Vishal Shekhar think he is a real discovery. Ranjit picked up music from his father who sings and does stage shows.

His performance on the famous ghazal ‘para para…’ by Ustaad Ghulam Ali saab at the show auditions left the judges captivated. Ranjit feels lucky that he got a chance to perform in front of legends like Lata Mangeshkar and Ghulam Ali Saab. He has been felicitated by former President Mr. Abdul Kalam for his excellent rendition in classical music.

Karan Tacker, her co-star knows this well, and he often manages to finish her chocolates, without telling her. After she realised what was happening, she began carrying extra for everyone to have.
