Filmstars go berserk while promoting their films and Kareena Kapoor is all over the place now, pushing her upcoming film Heroine. She was seen on Jhalak Dikkhla Ja, Dance Ke Superkids and even Suvreen Guggal. But it was her appearance on Sony’s CID that had her most excited. Featuring in the long-running successful show, sources claim, was a treat not only for the cast but Kareena herself, who had a ball learning about Daya, ACP Pradyuman and the other characters on the show.

New launch

Sai Deodhar is a happy woman; her dream to own a production banner has come true. Along with her husband Shakti Anand, she has launched Thoughtrain Entertainment, which was a dream of Sai’s father as well. “My husband fulfilled my dream and now there will be no looking back. We are working on producing a show for a popular channel and currently producing a film too,” she says.

London dreams

Popular theatre actor Disha Vakani, famous for her portrayal of Daya ben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has a dream. She has performed her play Kamaal Patel vs Dhamaal Patel more than a 100 times all over India, but now she wants to go further: she wants an international audience as well, particularly in London. We don’t know how and when she’ll be able to pull this off, but we wish her well.
