After the dud that was Dhoom Dhadakka, Shama Sikandar is back to television.

The actress is now shaking a leg with cricketer Vinod Kambli in Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina. She took on the show because she knew her partner would be an untrained dancer. “And I can never say no to dancing,” she grins.

The rumour mills haven’t stopped buzzing since it was said that Harbhajan Singh and Mona Singh have already won the show. Isn’t this a disadvantage of a pre-recorded show? “But the viewers don’t know who has won,” says Sikandar cryptically.

Her last major work on TV was her role as an aspiring filmmaker in Yeh Meri Life Hai.. which eventually went the rona-dhona way.

The actress insists she hasn’t finished with television.. nor the movies. Sikandar doesn’t know what went wrong with Dhoom Dhaddaka. She is now looking forward to another film with only two lead characters (Dhoom Dhadakka had four).
