The Chief Minister has assured security for film screening to the bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan after he called him and expressed concern over vandalism. The U-turn came after Assam CM told reporters that he does not know 'who is SRK.' On January 21, some right-wing groups had staged violent protest against the movie. Vandals in Assam's Guwahati district tore and burnt "Pathaan" posters.
