Delhi: Groom votes before wedding; polls enthuse senior citizens, ‘divyang’

Many people were seen exercising their franchise in Delhi on February 8. A groom caught the city's attention after turning up to vote in full wedding attire. Dhananjay said that casting his vote was more important. He and his family were also seen dancing on the street. The elections also enthused senior citizens like a 91-year old lady and 95-year old person casting their vote in Old Rajinder Nagar. They availed of the EC's pick and drop facility for senior citizens. Zafar, a 'divyang' person, who had his leg amputated four years ago, was also seen exercising his right to vote.
