Hung assembly in Haryana, PM Modi calls it an ‘exceptional win for BJP’

Despite failing to secure a majority in Haryana, PM Modi has called the result in the state an exceptional win for the BJP. He said that the fact that the BJP managed to buck anti-incumbency and emerge as the single largest party is an achievement in itself. BJP won 40 out of 90 assembly seats in Haryana. It is now looking to woo independents to form government in the state.
