BJP to reclaim power in Uttarakhand despite close fight from Cong: Exit polls

• The BJP is likely to retain Uttarakhand according to the exit polls predictions. The BJP is however likely to get fewer seats this time but may cross the halfway mark as predicted by exit polls. Congress is giving a close fight to the BJP. But the BJP is said to be in an advantageous position as per the exit polls. In the last assembly elections in 2017, BJP won 57 seats while Congress bagged 11 seats. The exit poll projections for 2022 indicate that Congress has improved its performance but may fall short of the majority mark.
