Russia has stunned Western leaders by unveiling fresh advancements in its strategic nuclear arsenal this week, publicly testing and promoting the Burevestnik nuclear-powered cruise missile — dubbed “Flying Chernobyl” — which can reportedly stay airborne for 15 hours and cross 14,000 km, evading missile defenses with unpredictable flight trajectories. President Vladimir Putin claims its reactor is “1,000 times smaller, 1,000 times faster” than submarine nuclear plants, allowing it to be launched in seconds.
