CAA stir: UP govt blames PFI for violence, seeks ban on the Islamic outfit

The Uttar Pradesh government has blamed Islamic group Popular Front of India for the violence during the anti-CAA protests in the state. UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the PFI is an offshoot of the banned SIMI and added that they will not tolerate any anti-national activity in the country. Meanwhile, UP DGP, OP Singh has written to the Home Ministry seeking a ban on the PFI. Watch the video for more details.
