Activists protested outside the UN office in Geneva against the persecution of minorities in Pakistan. The activists from India and Pakistan said that the United Nations is duty bound to protect the interests of the minorities in Pakistan. They also expressed their support for the Citizenship Amendment Act, which expedites the process of granting Indian citizenship to persecuted Hindu, Sikh and Christian minorities from neighbouring countries. The protests were held as the 43rd session of the UNHRC is underway. Watch the full video for more details.
