Darjeeling row: Police raid, allegedly vandalize residence of GJM leader

As Darjeeling continues to boil under indefinite strike called by the Gorkha Janmukti Morcha (GJM), the police on Friday raided and allegedly vandalised the residence of Morcha leader Binay Tamang. Family members of the leader alleged that the police raided their house and damaged their property which is inhuman and should be investigated. Following the violent protests, extra units of Paramilitary force CRPF and Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed in the state.
