Covid-19: China hits back after Donald Trump warns of ‘consequences’
Updated on Apr 21, 2020 01:09 am IST
The war of words between the United States of America and China over the Covid-19 pandemic has intensified. After Donald Trump warned China of 'consequences' if they were 'knowingly responsible' for the pandemic, Beijing said that the US must remember that the enemy is the virus, and not China. The Asian nation also said that it's also a 'victim' of the virus, and not the 'culprit' or 'accomplice'. Donald Trump has also been in favour of sending a team of experts to China to investigate the source of the outbreak.
