Covid-19 community transmission in certain districts of India: Dr Harsh Vardhan

While addressing his weekly social media programme Sunday Samvaad, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan admitted that community transmission of Covid-19 virus has occurred in certain districts in a limited number of states. However, he also clarified that the transmission was not happening countrywide. He was responding to a query regarding statement of Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee, who recently said that there are instances of community transmission in her state. “Community transmission has been reported in different pockets of various states.
