Covid Flash: 54,000+ new cases, 64 lakh vaccinations in India in 24 hrs

• India has reported 54,069 new cases in the last 24 hours. The country's active caseload declined to 6,27,057. A total of 30.16 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far, while 64.89 lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the last 24 hours. A total of 68,885 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours and so far, 2,90,63,740 recoveries have been registered across the country. The daily recoveries outnumbered daily new cases for the 42nd consecutive day. The coronavirus recovery rate increased to 96.61%. The weekly Covid positivity rate remained at 3.04%. Daily positivity rate at 2.91%, less than 5% for 17 consecutive days. Testing capacity ramped up and a total of 39.78 crore tests were conducted.
