Covid update: Covaxin consent form during vaccination; UK travel corridor curbs

• From over 1.6 lakh people getting vaccinated in India to 23 deaths in Norway, here are the top updates on the pandemic. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India’s Covid-19 vaccination drive. Over 1.6 lakh beneficiaries were vaccinated on Day 1 of the vaccination process across India. The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare informed that there were no cases of post-vaccine hospitalization. There were issues like delays in uploading the beneficiary list at some places which were resolved, the ministry informed. Meanwhile, 23 people died in Norway after they took shots of the Pfizer vaccine. Reportedly, 13 deaths were related to the side effects of the vaccine.
