Covid update: Covishield & antibodies; Kejriwal’s ‘Bharat Ratna’ suggestion

• From study on antibodies after Covishield, to the United Kingdom moving towards unlock, here are the top updates on coronavirus. As per a yet-to-be peer reviewed study by researchers of ICMR, antibodies against Delta variants were not observed in 58% of samples after 1 shot of Covishield. After two doses of Covishield, antibodies were not detected in 16% of samples. Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked to consider awarding Bharat Ratna to a healthcare professional this year.
