Covid update: India’s 80 lakh doses record; 21 cases of Delta Plus variant found

- From India administering 80 lakh doses in a single day to Maharashtra reporting cases of Delta Plus variant, here are the top updates on coronavirus. India on June 21 administered over 80 lakh doses of Covid-19, as per the health ministry. Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated people on the record-breaking feat. India’s new vaccination policy, to give free vaccines to all above 18, started on June 21. Meanwhile, Maharashtra has reported 21 cases of Delta Plus variant, state health minister Rajesh Tope said.
