Covid update: Negative RT-PCR report to enter Bengaluru; vaccine supply delay

• From Covid testing before entering Bengaluru, to Portugal extending emergency, here are the top updates on the pandemic. India on Thursday reported the highest single-day cases of Covid-19 of this year with over 53,000 fresh cases. Six states – Maharashtra, Punjab, Kerala, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, and Gujarat – contributed more than 80% to the new cases reported. Meanwhile, Portugal extended the state of Emergency for 15 days.
