Covid update: Nepal begins immunization; Covaxin for UK variant; ‘more vaccines’

- From Nepal’s immunization drive to Dr. Harsh Vardhan speaking on vaccines, here are the top updates on the coronavirus pandemic. Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that more vaccines are on their way to be introduced in India. Dr. Vardhan also said that the world is on the verge of defeating the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, Nepal started the immunization for Covid-19 on Wednesday with the vaccines sent by India. India had sent 10 lakh doses of Covishield vaccines to Nepal as a gift. Nepal Prime Minister thanked India and PM Modi for sending vaccine consignment. Also, India announced more relaxations on Wednesday. Swimming pools will now be opened for all, seating capacity in cinema halls to be increased from 50%, as per new rules announced by MHA. Watch the full video for more details.
