Covid update: PM Modi speaks to Putin; 3,000 missing patients; SII reduces price

- From centre announcing procurement of one lakh oxygen concentrators to Serum Institute reducing Covishield’s prices, here are the top updates on coronavirus. Over 35 lakh people registered in the first hour for phase 3 vaccination. Centre opened registrations for 18-44 age group on CoWIN & Aarogya Setu. There were also reports of technical glitches on the website. Serum Institute of India’s Chairman Adar Poonawalla said the prices for the Covishield vaccine have been reduced to ₹300 per dose for state governments.
