Covid update: Risk from dead bodies; Moderna, Pfizer for India; Covaxin’s nod

- From Covaxin’s WHO nod to infection from dead bodies, here are the top updates on coronavirus. Bharat Biotech said it is confident of getting Emergency Use Listing (EUL) from WHO. The vaccine maker said it is expecting approval for Covaxin during July-September. Meanwhile, Moderna is expecting to launch its single-dose vaccine in India next year. Also AIIMS forensic chief said the risk of infection from the diseased is highly unlikely as Covid doesn’t remain active in the nasal and oral activities 12 to 24 hours after death.
