Covid update: WHO nod for Covaxin likely in 4-6 weeks; experts’ warning for UK

- From the Tamil Nadu government extending lockdown to Covaxin’s likely approval by WHO, here are the top updates on coronavirus. Tamil Nadu government extended lockdown in the state till July 19. Shops that were earlier allowed to open till 8 pm are not allowed to open till 9 pm. Meanwhile, WHO scientist Soumya Swaminathan warned that the pandemic is not over as the cases are rising all over the world as the Delta variant is spreading.
