Covid updates: Railways lose 36,000 cr; India supplies Oxygen to Sri Lanka

Union Government has said that Indian Railways have suffered a loss of 36,000 crore during covid pandemic as passenger and goods trains were severely affected. The government however assured people that as of now, there won't be any surge in rail fares. Meanwhile, in some good news, there has been further improvement in national recovery rate in India. According to health ministry, the recovery rate stands at 97.57% in the country. India has meanwhile exported 100 tons of medical oxygen to Sri Lanka to meet the oxygen demand in the island nation.
