‘Delhi lockdown extended for another week till May 24’: CM Arvind Kejriwal

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal announced extension of the ongoing lockdown by one more week. The lockdown has been extended in the national capital till 5 am of May 24. "Delhi has been recovering at a good pace. The numbers of cases are on steady decline. We do not want to lose the gains that we have achieved in the last few days. That is why we are extending the lockdown till 5 am on next Monday instead of ending it tomorrow," said Kejriwal. India reported 3.11 lakh fresh Covid cases, as per Union Health Ministry data on May 16. The country saw the lowest rise in daily Covid cases after a gap of 25 days. Watch the full video for more.
