Coronavirus: Harsh Vardhan visits NCDC, briefs on community surveillance

Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Tuesday reviewed the status of containment and management of COVID-19 in the country and emphasised on the quality and sturdiness of community surveillance and contact tracing in tackling the disease. The minister visited National Centre for Disease Control and took stock of preparedness amid Covid-19 outbreak. Dr Vardhan said around 1,87,000 people are being monitored by NCDC through community surveillance.
