India receives ventilators, Remdesivir from EU; respirators from Kazakhstan

- An aircraft with medical aid from EU member states arrived in New Delhi on Friday. The aircraft carried a shipment of ventilators, Remdesivir and medical equipment. The External Affairs Ministry appreciated the continued solidarity shown by European countries. India also welcomed the arrival of 5.6 million masks/respirators that arrived from Kazakhstan. A flight from S Korea arrived with 10,000 rapid testing kits & negative pressure carriers. Earlier, medical assistance from Qatar & Canada also arrived in India. India has received support from several countries including US, Russia & UK.
