COVID-19: Jammu Railway converts six coaches into isolation wards for patients

Jammu Railway converted six coaches into isolation wards. A total number of 48 patients can be kept in theses coaches. Senior Divisional Traffic Manager, Chetan Taneja, said, “Six coaches have been converted to isolation wards at Jammu Railway station. There are nine cabins in every coach out of which one cabin is for medical staff. The rest of the cabins are planned to utilize for COVID-19 patients.” He also added that they are working closely with the state government. India has reported over 5300 positive COVID-19 cases.
