Johnson & Johnson's single-dose Covid vaccine gets approval in India. The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted on August 7. He wrote: India expands its vaccine basket; now India has 5 EUA vaccines. The American pharmaceuticals company issued a statement on Saturday, “We are pleased to let you know that on 7th August 2021, the Government of India issued Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 single-dose vaccine in India." Studies show that the vaccine is 85 % effective against severe Covid-19 cases. Watch the full video for more.
